I would like to endorse Robert Fowles in the Honiton Town Council by-election tomorrow.
Robert is reliable, detail-focused, and truly committed to Honiton. Who else would volunteer to join the Beehive Working Group as a member of the public?
He’s a regular at the working group meetings (unless his troublesome electric car lets him down) and has done loads of work such as contacting potential lessees to help keep the project moving.
With his strong business experience, Robert is happy to wade through long documents, spotting every typo or formatting error along the way.
He’s also prepared to roll up his sleeves to solve a problem. I remember on Christmas Day 2023 when the CUB Building had no hot water. Robert quickly helped to find and fix the problem (a timer hidden in the men’s bathroom) saving the day for Operation Rudolph.
As a former town councillor, Robert knows how things work. With his experience, dedication, and hands-on approach, it would be good to see Robert back on the Town Council.
